Nenana Municipal Utility was established in 1981. It has 230 services. In 2020 the water treatment plan upgrade began and is almost at completion. It is a Green Sand filtration system. Our RBC (rotating biological contactors) wastewater plant is in the process of planning for an upgrade. We know Nenana is a small community, but we are grateful to be able to have our own water and wastewater facilities.
